Setup and Assembly

  2. Attach Casters: Insert the four 3-inch caster wheels into the designated holes at the bottom of each leg. Ensure the two locking casters are installed on the same side for easier access. Press firmly until they click into place.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Mattress Height

The mattress support can be set to two different heights. The higher position is for infants, providing easier access for caregivers. The lower position is for older infants and toddlers who can push up on their hands and knees or stand, to prevent them from climbing out.

  1. Remove the mattress from the crib.
  2. Carefully detach the mattress support from the crib frame by unscrewing the fasteners.
  3. Re-attach the mattress support to the desired height position, ensuring all fasteners are securely tightened.
  4. Replace the mattress.

Using Caster Wheels

The crib is equipped with four 3-inch caster wheels for easy movement. Two of these casters are locking to secure the crib in place.

  • To Move the Crib: Ensure both locking casters are in the unlocked position. Gently push the crib to its desired location.
  • To Secure the Crib: Once the crib is in position, engage the locks on the two locking casters by pressing down on the lever. Verify the crib is stable and does not move.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the crib surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals that could damage the finish or materials.
  • Hardware Check: Regularly check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight and secure. Loose hardware can pose a safety hazard.
  • Storage: If storing the crib, ensure it is clean and dry. Store in a climate-controlled environment to prevent warping or damage to the wood.
  • Mattress Care: The foam mattress can be spot cleaned with a mild soap and water solution. Allow to air dry completely before placing back in the crib.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Crib feels wobbly or unstable. Loose hardware. Check and tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten.
Casters do not roll smoothly. Debris in wheels or casters not fully inserted. Clean any debris from the wheels. Ensure casters are fully seated in the legs.
Mattress does not fit snugly. Incorrect mattress size or improper assembly. Ensure the correct mattress (3-inch foam mattress included) is used. Recheck crib assembly to ensure all parts are correctly aligned.
Crib makes squeaking noises. Loose joints or friction between wood parts. Tighten all hardware. Apply a small amount of paraffin wax or silicone spray to contact points if necessary.
