4. Setup and Assembly

• Install Drill Bit: Insert the desired drill bit into the chuck and tighten it securely with the chuck key. Remove the chuck key immediately after tightening.
• Adjust Table Height and Angle: Loosen the table lock and adjust the work table to the appropriate height for your workpiece. The table can also be tilted 0-45° for angled drilling. Secure the table lock firmly.
• Secure Workpiece: Always clamp the workpiece firmly to the work table. Never hold it by hand.
• Set Depth Stop: Adjust the depth stop to control the drilling depth. This prevents drilling too deep.

5.3 Drilling Operation

1. Plug in the drill press and turn on the power switch.
2. Allow the drill bit to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
3. Using the feed handles, slowly and steadily lower the drill bit into the workpiece. Apply even pressure.
4. Once the desired depth is reached (indicated by the depth stop), retract the drill bit from the workpiece.
5. Turn off the power switch and wait for the drill bit to stop completely before removing the workpiece or making any adjustments.
