  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully unpack all components. Inspect the wooden frame for any cracks or damage. Verify all hardware is present. If any part, especially structural components like the wooden beams, appears cracked or damaged upon arrival, do not proceed with assembly. Contact customer support for replacement parts.
  2. Assemble the Wooden Stand: Follow the detailed diagrams provided in the separate assembly guide (not included in this manual) to connect the curved wooden sections and the base supports. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.
  3. Attach the Hammock Bed: Securely attach the natural cotton hammock bed to the wooden stand using the provided chains and clips. Ensure the hammock is evenly suspended.
  4. Install Safety Ropes: Attach the four extra safety ropes as indicated in the assembly guide to enhance stability and prevent excessive swaying. Ensure these ropes are taut and properly secured.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your hammock.

  • Cleaning the Hammock Fabric: The natural cotton hammock can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry completely. For prolonged life, consider bringing the hammock fabric indoors during inclement weather or extended periods of non-use.
  • Cleaning the Canopy: The polyester canopy can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
  • Wood Frame Care: The larch wood frame is varnished for outdoor use. To maintain its appearance and durability, especially in harsh weather conditions, consider applying a weather protectant or sealant annually. Regularly check for signs of wear, such as delamination or cracking, and address them promptly.
  • Hardware Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, chains, and clips to ensure they remain tight and secure. Tighten as necessary.
  • Storage: During off-season or extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to disassemble the hammock and store it in a dry, protected area to prevent weather damage.
