5. Installation

5.1. Battery Installation

Before operating the dispenser, install 2 AA batteries:

  1. Open the dispenser cover. This typically involves pressing a button on top or using a key on the side.
  2. Locate the battery compartment inside the unit.
  3. Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the dispenser cover securely.

5.2. Refill Can Installation

To install an aerosol air freshener can:

  1. Ensure the dispenser is turned OFF using the ON/OFF switch.
  2. Open the dispenser cover.
  3. Insert the standard-size aerosol refill can into the designated holder, ensuring the nozzle of the can faces outwards and aligns with the dispenser's spray mechanism.
  4. Close the dispenser cover securely.

5.3. Placement Options

The SVAVO dispenser offers two placement options:

  • Free-standing: Place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface such as a desk, shelf, or table.
  • Wall-mounted: Use the provided screws and wall plugs to securely mount the dispenser to a wall. It is recommended to mount the unit 7-9 feet above the floor for optimal fragrance dispersion.

6. Operation

Once batteries and a refill can are installed, you can configure the dispenser's operation:

6.1. Power On/Off

  • Locate the ON/OFF switch inside the dispenser.
  • Slide the switch to ON to activate the dispenser.
  • Slide the switch to OFF to deactivate the dispenser.

6.2. Setting Spray Interval

Use the Interval Switch to select how often the dispenser sprays:

  • 5MIN: Dispenses fragrance every 5 minutes.
  • 15MIN: Dispenses fragrance every 15 minutes.
  • 25MIN: Dispenses fragrance every 25 minutes.

6.3. Setting Operating Mode

Use the Mode Switch to select when the dispenser operates:

  • NIGHT: Dispenses only in dark conditions (when the light sensor detects low light).
  • DAY: Dispenses only in bright conditions (when the light sensor detects sufficient light).
  • 24H: Dispenses continuously, regardless of light conditions.

6.4. Testing the Spray

After setting your desired interval and mode, you can test the spray:

  • Press the TEST button. The dispenser will emit one spray.
  • Ensure the spray is directed away from your face and eyes.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance:

  • Turn off the dispenser and remove the refill can and batteries.
  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure no liquid enters the internal electronic components.
  • Allow the dispenser to dry completely before reinserting batteries and refill can.

7.2. Battery Replacement

The green LED indicator light will signal when the batteries are low and need replacement. Follow the steps in Section 5.1 to replace the 2 AA batteries.

7.3. Refill Can Replacement

When the fragrance level in the can is depleted, replace it with a new standard-size aerosol refill can. Follow the steps in Section 5.2.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SVAVO Automatic Air Freshener Dispenser, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
