1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and effective use of your Skip Hop MOBY Smart Sling 3-Stage Infant Bathtub. This versatile bathtub is designed to adapt to your child's growth through three distinct stages, from newborn to sitter.

• Always keep your child within arm's reach during bathing. Never leave a child unattended in the bathtub, even for a moment.

2. Setup and Assembly

2.1 Unpacking

Remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the bathtub and the mesh Smart Sling.

2.2 Attaching the Smart Sling (Newborn Position)

For newborns (0-3 months, up to 15 lbs), the Smart Sling should be in the upper position for full-body cradling.

1. Locate the four attachment points on the rim of the bathtub.
2. Attach the two upper clips of the Smart Sling to the higher attachment points on the tub.
3. Attach the two lower clips of the Smart Sling to the lower attachment points on the tub. Ensure all clips are securely fastened.

2.3 Adjusting the Smart Sling (Infant Position)

For infants (3-6 months, up to 20 lbs) who are learning to sit, the Smart Sling can be adjusted to a lower position for seated support.

1. Carefully unclip the two upper clips of the Smart Sling from the higher attachment points.
2. Re-attach these two clips to the lower attachment points on the tub, alongside the existing lower clips. This creates a more upright, seated support.
3. Ensure all four clips are securely fastened to the lower attachment points.

2.4 Removing the Smart Sling (Sitter Stage)

Once your child is able to sit upright unassisted (6 months+, up to 25 lbs), the Smart Sling can be removed entirely to provide a spacious bathing area.

1. Unclip all four clips of the Smart Sling from the bathtub.
2. Remove the Smart Sling from the tub.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Stage 1: Newborn (0-3 months, up to 15 lbs)

Use the Smart Sling in the upper position for full-body cradling. This provides a comfortable and secure recline for newborns.

• Ensure the sling is securely attached as described in Section 2.2.
• Fill the tub with a shallow amount of warm water, ensuring the water level does not exceed your child's chest when they are in the sling.
• Gently place your newborn into the sling.

3.2 Stage 2: Infant (3-6 months, up to 20 lbs)

Adjust the Smart Sling to the lower position for seated support as your infant begins to learn to sit.

• Ensure the sling is securely attached as described in Section 2.3.
• Fill the tub with a shallow amount of warm water, ensuring the water level does not exceed your child's waist when they are seated.
• Place your infant into the sling, ensuring they are comfortably supported.

3.3 Stage 3: Sitter (6 months+, up to 25 lbs)

Once your child can sit unassisted, remove the Smart Sling for a spacious and comfortable bathing experience.

• Ensure the sling is removed as described in Section 2.4.
• Fill the tub with warm water to a safe level, typically not exceeding your child's waist when seated.
• Place your child directly into the tub. The non-slip interior provides stability.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1 Cleaning
