1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the HUO JI E-Element E780 2.4GHz Ultra-Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. This combo is designed to provide a comfortable and efficient wireless experience for your computer. It features an ergonomic keyboard with flat keys and a contoured mouse with adjustable DPI settings and an LED backlight. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new wireless peripheral set.

Compatibility: This combo is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/7/8/10/Vista, Mac OS X, and Linux operating systems.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Battery Installation

1. For the Keyboard: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
2. For the Mouse: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Insert one (1) AAA battery, ensuring correct polarity.

3.2 Connecting the Nano Receiver

1. The Nano receiver is conveniently stored in the battery compartment of the mouse. Gently remove it.
2. Plug the Nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. The keyboard and mouse are pre-paired with the receiver and should be ready for use within a few seconds.

4.1 Keyboard Operation

4.2 Mouse Operation

6. Troubleshooting

• No Response from Keyboard/Mouse:
  • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Verify the Nano receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
  • Ensure the mouse power switch (on the underside) is in the 'ON' position.
  • Move the keyboard and mouse closer to the Nano receiver to rule out range issues.
• Lag or Intermittent Connection:
  • Interference from other 2.4GHz devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) can affect performance. Try to minimize such interference.
  • Ensure there are no large metal objects between the devices and the receiver.
• Mouse Backlight Not Working:
  • Check the power switch on the underside of the mouse and ensure it's set to the backlight 'ON' position.
  • Replace the mouse battery.
• Keys are too flat/Mouse clicks too easily:
  • The ultra-slim design and light click sensitivity are intentional features of this product. Adjusting your typing or grip style may help.
