This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SVAVO Automatic LCD Fragrance Dispenser, Model V-880D. Control Panel and Display:

  • LCD Display: Shows current time, spray interval, working mode, and battery status.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the dispenser cover using the provided security key.
  2. Insert 2 new AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the dispenser cover.

Note: The dispenser requires 2 AA batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended as their voltage may be insufficient for proper operation (dispenser stops working below 2.3V).

5.2 Fragrance Canister Installation

  1. Ensure the dispenser is turned OFF.
  2. Open the dispenser cover.
  3. Insert a standard-sized aerosol fragrance can into the designated slot. Ensure the nozzle of the can aligns with the dispenser's spray mechanism.
  4. Close the dispenser cover securely.

Note: This dispenser is compatible with most standard aerosol air freshener cans, including brands like Air Wick, Glade, and Lysol. Ensure the can size fits the dispenser dimensions (approximately 5.51 inches in height).

5.3 Mounting Options

The dispenser offers two installation methods:

Wall-Mounted:

  1. Choose a suitable location, ideally 7-9 feet above the floor, away from direct airflow or obstacles.
  2. Mark the positions for drilling using the dispenser's mounting holes as a template.
  3. Drill holes and insert the wall plugs.
  4. Secure the dispenser to the wall using the provided screws.

Free-Standing:

Simply place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface such as a desk, shelf, or table.

6. Operating Instructions

After installing batteries and a fragrance can, you can program the dispenser.

6.1 Setting Current Time and Day

  1. Press the MODE button until the clock icon flashes on the LCD.
  2. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the current time (24-hour format).
  3. Press the WEEK button to set the current day of the week.
  4. Press MODE again to save and move to the next setting, or wait for the display to return to normal.

6.2 Setting Working Mode (Days of Operation)

  1. Press the MODE button until the 'WEEK' setting is displayed.
  2. Use the WEEK button to select one of the three working modes:
    • Monday to Friday (Mon-Fri)
    • Monday to Saturday (Mon-Sat)
    • Monday to Sunday (Mon-Sun)
  3. Press MODE to confirm.

6.3 Setting Working Period (Start/Stop Time)

  1. Press the MODE button until 'START' time is displayed.
  2. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the desired start time for spraying (24-hour format).
  3. Press MODE again to display 'STOP' time.
  4. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the desired stop time for spraying (24-hour format).
  5. Press MODE to confirm.

6.4 Setting Spray Interval

  1. Press the MODE button until 'SPRAY' interval is displayed.
  2. Use the SPRAY button to select the desired interval between sprays, from 1 to 60 minutes.
  3. Press MODE to confirm.

6.5 Manual Spray

To manually release a spray, press the SPRAY button once. The dispenser will emit a single spray.

6.6 Low Battery Indicator

When the battery power drops below 2.3V, the dispenser will stop operating, and the LCD screen will display a battery frame icon. This indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

To clean the exterior of the dispenser, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

7.2 Fragrance Canister Replacement

When the fragrance runs out, replace the canister by following the steps in Section 5.2. Ensure the dispenser is OFF before replacing.

7.3 Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator appears, replace the 2 AA batteries by following the steps in Section 5.1. Your programmed settings will be retained even after battery removal.
