3. Setup and Connections
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the TEAC PD-D2750 from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.
3.2 Placement
Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibration. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation.
3.3 Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel of the PD-D2750 provides various output options for connecting to your audio system.

- Line Out (RCA): Connect these analog audio outputs (red for right, white for left) to the corresponding analog input jacks on your amplifier or receiver using RCA cables.
- Coaxial Digital Out: For digital audio connection, use a coaxial digital cable to connect this port to a coaxial digital input on your amplifier or receiver.
- Optical Digital Out: For digital audio connection, use an optical digital cable (Toslink) to connect this port to an optical digital input on your amplifier or receiver.
3.4 Power Connection
After all audio connections are made, plug the AC power cord into a suitable wall outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Front Panel Overview
The front panel contains controls for power, disc loading, playback, and headphone output.

4.2 Powering On/Off
Press the POWER button located on the front panel to turn the unit on or off.
4.3 Loading Discs
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray. Place up to five compact discs onto the carousel trays with the label side facing up. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray.

4.4 Basic Playback
- Play: Press the PLAY (►) button to start playback.
- Pause: Press the PAUSE (∥) button to temporarily stop playback. Press again to resume.
- Stop: Press the STOP (■) button to end playback.
- Skip Track: Use the SKIP (►►| / |◄◄) buttons to move to the next or previous track.
- Search: Hold down the SEARCH (►► / ◄◄) buttons during playback to fast forward or rewind within a track.
- Disc Skip: Press the DISC SKIP button to switch between loaded discs.
4.5 Headphone Output
Connect headphones to the PHONES jack on the front panel. Adjust the headphone volume using the adjacent VOLUME knob.
4.6 Display Information
The front display shows track number, elapsed time, and other playback information.

5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild detergent solution.
5.2 Disc Care
- Handle discs by their edges to avoid fingerprints.
- Clean discs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
- Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on discs.
- Store discs in their cases to protect them from dust and scratches.
5.3 Laser Lens Cleaning
The laser lens should not require frequent cleaning. If playback issues persist after cleaning discs, a specialized CD lens cleaner disc may be used, following its instructions. Avoid touching the lens directly.
