2. Setup

2.1. Inserting the Micro SD Card

The PHD-1080 requires a micro SD card (up to 32GB) for storing recordings. Locate the micro SD card slot on the device. Gently insert the card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.

2.2. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the device to a USB power source using the provided charging cable. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 5.5 hours of battery life.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the LED indicator illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the LED indicator turns off.

With the device powered on, press the record button once to start video recording. The LED indicator will change to indicate recording is in progress. Press the record button again to stop recording and save the video file.

3.3. Taking Photos

While in standby mode, a short press of a designated button (refer to device specific button layout) will capture a 12MP photo. The LED indicator may flash briefly to confirm the photo capture.

3.4. Optional Date/Time Stamp

The device supports an optional date/time stamp feature. This can be configured through the device's settings (if accessible via a companion app or PC connection) to overlay the current date and time onto your recordings.
