3.1 Battery Installation

3.2 Mounting the Unit

The XM-AD5 can be mounted directly onto your camera's hot shoe or cold shoe using the integrated shoe-mount adapter. Tighten the locking wheel to secure the unit in place.

3.3 Connecting Microphones

• 3.5mm Microphones: Plug your 3.5mm condenser microphones into the INPUT 1 and/or INPUT 2 jacks.
