4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the battery charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Slide the 18V 4Ah battery pack onto the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. The charger indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 80 minutes.
4. Once fully charged, remove the battery pack from the charger.

4.2 Installing/Removing the Battery Pack

• To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
• To Remove: Press the battery release button (usually located on the sides of the battery pack) and slide the battery pack out.

4.3 Installing/Removing Drill Bits or Screwdriver Bits

1. Ensure the drill is switched off and the battery pack is removed for safety.
2. Grip the rear collar of the 13mm keyless chuck firmly with one hand.
3. Rotate the front collar counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
4. Insert the drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck, ensuring it is centered and inserted as far as possible.
5. Rotate the front collar clockwise to tighten the chuck jaws securely around the bit. Hand-tighten only.
6. To Remove: Reverse the tightening process by rotating the front collar counter-clockwise.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To turn the drill on, press the trigger switch. The speed is variable depending on how far the trigger is pressed.
• To turn the drill off, release the trigger switch.

5.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation

A forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (drilling/driving screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws).

5.3 Adjusting Torque Settings

The drill features 24 torque settings, plus a drill mode. Rotate the torque adjustment collar, located behind the chuck, to select the desired setting. Lower numbers are for driving small screws or working with soft materials, while higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials. Select the drill symbol for drilling applications.

5.4 LED Work Light

The integrated LED light automatically illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, providing better visibility in dimly lit spaces.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the ventilation openings of the tool to prevent overheating. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the tool's exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.2 Battery Care

• Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Recharge them periodically.

6.3 Storage

When not in use, store the drill driver and its accessories in the provided carrying case, in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.

• Reduced power/short battery life: The battery may not be fully charged, or it may be nearing the end of its service life. Ensure the charger is functioning correctly.
• Excessive vibration/noise: Check that the drill bit or accessory is correctly installed and tightened in the chuck. Ensure the bit is not damaged or bent.
• Overheating: Ensure the ventilation slots are clear of debris. Avoid continuous heavy-duty use without breaks.
