5. Setup
5.1 Installation
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable location for your camera, ensuring it has a clear view and is within range of your Wi-Fi network.
- Mount the Camera (Optional): If mounting, use the provided bracket, screws, and wall plugs. Drill pilot holes, insert wall plugs, and secure the bracket. Attach the camera to the bracket.
- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the camera's power port and plug it into an electrical outlet. The status indicator light will illuminate.

5.2 App Download and Account Creation
To operate your Black Label Cam, you need to download the official Black Label Cam application.

- Create an Account: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account. If you already have an account, log in.
5.3 Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi
Follow these steps to connect your camera to your home Wi-Fi network:
- Prepare Camera: Ensure the camera is powered on and the status indicator light is blinking, indicating it's ready for pairing. If not, press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds until it blinks.
- Add Device in App: In the Black Label Cam app, tap the "+" icon or "Add Device" to begin the pairing process.
- Select Camera Type: Choose your Black Label Cam model from the list of available devices.
- Enter Wi-Fi Details: Input your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted. Note: The Black Label Cam supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only.
- Scan QR Code (if applicable): The app may generate a QR code. Position your camera's lens to scan this QR code from your phone screen. You will hear a confirmation sound from the camera once scanned successfully.
- Connection Confirmation: Wait for the camera to connect to the Wi-Fi network. The status indicator light will turn solid blue (or green, depending on model) once connected. The app will also confirm successful pairing.

6.1 Live View
Once connected, open the Black Label Cam app and select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed. You can:
