1. Introduction and Overview

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Read all instructions before using this humidifier.

  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and 3 feet (1 meter) from heat sources such as stoves, radiators, or heaters.
  • Do not place the humidifier directly on carpet, towels, or other absorbent surfaces.
  • Do not use the humidifier in areas where humidity levels are already high, such as bathrooms.
  • Always unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
  • Do not immerse the base unit in water or other liquids.
  • Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add essential oils, medications, or other additives to the water tank.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never block the mist outlet.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the humidifier on a flat, water-resistant surface. Ensure the unit is at least 12 inches (30 cm) from walls and 3 feet (1 meter) from heat sources.
  2. Remove Water Tank: Lift the water tank from the base unit using the integrated handle.
  3. Fill Water Tank: Invert the water tank and unscrew the tank cap. Fill the tank with cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water or add any additives. Screw the cap back on tightly.
  4. Place Demineralization Cartridge: Ensure the demineralization cartridge is properly seated in its designated slot within the water tank or base, as per the diagram in the packaging. This cartridge helps reduce white dust caused by minerals in hard water.
  5. Replace Water Tank: Carefully place the filled water tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it is securely seated.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

5. Operating Instructions

The control panel features intuitive buttons for easy operation.

  1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the humidifier on or off. The unit will start in cool mist mode at a medium setting.
  2. Mist Output Adjustment: Press the Mist button repeatedly to cycle through Low (L), Medium (M), and High (H) mist output settings. Corresponding indicator lights will illuminate.
  3. Warm/Cool Mist Selection: Press the Warm/Cool button to switch between warm mist and cool mist modes. An indicator light will show the selected mode.
  4. Timer Function: Press the Timer button to set the humidifier to operate for 4, 8, or 12 hours. The unit will automatically shut off after the selected time.
  5. Night-Light: Press the Night-Light button to turn the built-in night-light on or off.
  6. Automatic Shut-Off: The humidifier will automatically shut off when the water tank is empty. The "Refill" indicator light will illuminate. Refill the tank to resume operation.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth.

Daily Maintenance:

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  • Rinse the water tank and base thoroughly with cool water.
  • Allow all parts to air dry before reassembling.

Weekly Cleaning:

  • Descaling the Base: Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar with 1 cup of water. Pour the solution into the base unit and let it soak for 20 minutes. Gently scrub any mineral buildup with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Cleaning the Water Tank: Add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to the water tank and fill it with water. Shake vigorously and let it soak for 20 minutes. Empty the tank and rinse thoroughly.
  • Demineralization Cartridge: The demineralization cartridge should be replaced approximately every 2-3 months, depending on water hardness and usage. Follow the instructions provided with replacement cartridges.

Caution: Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads to clean the humidifier, as this may damage the unit.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Refill the water tank.
