Introduction

The Franklin Sensors ProSensor 710+ is an advanced stud finder designed for accurate detection of wood and metal studs behind drywall. Featuring 13 patented sensors and a wide LED display, it provides precise location of stud centers and edges simultaneously, eliminating the need for calibration.

Setup

Battery Installation

The ProSensor 710+ requires two (2) non-rechargeable AA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the device.
2. Push the battery cover to the left to open.
3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Push the battery cover to the right to close and secure.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

The ProSensor 710+ is designed for instant and accurate stud detection without calibration.

1. Place the stud finder flat against the wall surface.
2. Press and hold the power button located on the front of the device. The LED lights will illuminate as it detects changes in density.
3. Slowly slide the device horizontally across the wall. The wide LED display will indicate the full width of the stud, showing both its center and edges simultaneously.
4. For best results, keep your fingers off the detector outside of the handle area.

Maintenance

Care and Storage

• Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Store the stud finder in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
• Avoid dropping the device or exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture.
