Setup
Battery Installation
The STATUS High Power 13 LED Lantern requires 4 x D batteries for operation. These batteries are included with your purchase.
- Locate the battery compartment cover, typically at the base or rear of the lantern.
- Twist or unlatch the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert the 4 D batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the markings inside the compartment.
- If a battery saving plastic tag is present, remove it before inserting batteries.
- Securely close the battery compartment cover.

Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off
The lantern is equipped with a simple on/off switch.
- To turn the lantern ON, slide the switch to the 'ON' position. The 13 LEDs will illuminate.
- To turn the lantern OFF, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position. The LEDs will turn off.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the lantern, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the lantern in water.
Battery Replacement
When the light output diminishes, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section to replace the 4 x D batteries.
Note: Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting
