1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this electric fireplace heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, serious injury, or property damage. Retain this manual for future reference.

General Safety

  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors. This heater is intended for indoor use only.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

Electrical Safety

  • This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in Figure A. An adapter as shown in Figure C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
  • The heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection feature. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. To reset, unplug the heater from the electrical outlet, wait 5-10 minutes for the unit to cool, then plug it back in.

Placement Safety

  • Maintain a minimum clearance of 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front, sides, and top of the heater to any combustible materials such as furniture, drapes, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains.
  • Ensure the heater is placed on a firm, level surface.

4. Setup

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the fireplace heater from its packaging.
  2. Remove all protective packaging materials and ensure no components are left inside the unit.
  3. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit.

Placement

  • Place the electric fireplace on a hard, level, non-combustible surface.
  • Ensure there is a minimum clearance of 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front, sides, and top of the heater to any combustible materials.
  • Do not place the heater in an area where it could be exposed to water or excessive humidity.
  • Avoid placing the unit directly under a power outlet.

Electrical Connection

  • Ensure the heater is turned OFF before plugging it into an electrical outlet.
  • Plug the power cord directly into a 120V, 60Hz, 15 Amp grounded electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord, power strip, or surge protector.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the controls located on the unit, typically behind the front access panel or on the side.

Powering On/Off

  • Locate the main POWER switch. Flip it to the 'ON' position to power the unit.
  • To turn off the unit, flip the POWER switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug from the wall outlet for complete disconnection.

Adjusting Flame Brightness

  • The unit features adjustable flame brightness. Locate the flame control knob or button.
  • Rotate the knob or press the button to cycle through different brightness levels until the desired effect is achieved.

Adjusting Thermostat Control

  • The adjustable thermostat control allows you to set the desired room temperature.

  • Select the appropriate heat setting based on the desired warmth and room size. The 1500W setting provides maximum heat output for heating areas up to 160 sq. ft.

Automatic Overheat Protection

For safety, the heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection system. If the unit's internal temperature exceeds a safe limit, it will automatically shut off. If this occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes, and then plug it back in. Ensure air intake and exhaust vents are not blocked.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your electric fireplace heater. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.

Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishes, or chemical solvents as they may damage the finish.
  • Air Vents: Periodically use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean dust and debris from the air intake and exhaust vents. Ensure these vents remain clear for proper operation.
  • Glass Panel: Clean the glass panel with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth, not directly to the glass.

Storage

If storing the heater for an extended period, unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your electric fireplace heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
