  • Confirm that the electrical supply matches the appliance's requirements (2000W).
Included installation components: manual, energy label, dielectric fittings, screws and dowels, wall mount bracket

Figure 4: Components included for installation, such as the wall mount bracket, screws, and dielectric fittings.

Mounting:

  1. Mark the drilling points for the wall mount bracket using the provided template or measurements.
  2. Drill holes and insert the supplied dowels.
  3. Secure the wall mount bracket firmly to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Carefully lift the water heater and hang it onto the wall mount bracket.

Plumbing Connection:

  1. Connect the cold water inlet (blue ring) to the main cold water supply using the dielectric fittings.
  2. Connect the hot water outlet (red ring) to the hot water distribution system.
  3. Install a safety valve (not always included, check local regulations) on the cold water inlet.
  4. Open the hot water tap at a nearby faucet to allow air to escape while the tank fills.
  5. Once water flows steadily from the hot water tap, close the tap and check all connections for leaks.

Electrical Connection:

  1. Ensure the main power supply is OFF at the circuit breaker.
  2. Connect the pre-wired power supply cable to a dedicated, properly grounded electrical outlet or junction box.
  3. Verify all electrical connections are secure and insulated.
  4. Restore power to the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

First Use:

  1. Ensure the water heater tank is completely filled with water (as described in Plumbing Connection).
  2. Turn on the electrical power to the appliance.
  3. The heating indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the water heater is actively heating the water.

Temperature Adjustment:

  • The water temperature can be adjusted using the manual thermostat knob located on the front panel.
  • Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
  • Allow sufficient time for the water to heat up after adjusting the setting.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your water heater. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

Annual Checks:

  • Safety Valve: Periodically operate the safety valve to ensure it is not blocked.
  • Anode Inspection: The magnesium anode should be inspected annually and replaced if significantly corroded. This helps protect the tank from corrosion.
  • Heating Element Descaling: In areas with hard water, the heating element may accumulate limescale. This should be cleaned periodically by a qualified technician to maintain efficiency.
  • Leak Inspection: Check all plumbing connections for any signs of leaks.
