1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your VLPE mnt Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket. This bracket is designed to securely mount your Philips 65" 4K Ultra HD 60Hz LED Smart TV (Model 65PFL7900/F7) to a wall, allowing for a tilting adjustment to optimize viewing angles. 4. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure you have the necessary tools: stud finder, drill, drill bits, level, tape measure, pencil, and a screwdriver/socket wrench. Always verify wall type and stud locations.

4.1. Attaching Brackets to TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
  3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the provided hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes. Refer to your TV's manual for VESA specifications if needed.
  4. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV, ensuring they are centered and securely fastened. The hooks on the brackets should face upwards. Do not overtighten.

4.2. Mounting Wall Plate to Wall

  1. Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the center of where the TV will be.
  2. Use a stud finder to locate two adjacent wooden studs in the wall. Mark their centers. For concrete/brick walls, use appropriate anchors (not always included, may need to be purchased separately).
  3. Hold the wall plate against the wall, aligning its center with your marked TV center and ensuring the mounting holes align with the stud centers. Use a level to ensure the plate is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drill points.
  4. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Ensure the drill bit size matches the recommendations for the lag bolts.
  5. Securely fasten the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten to avoid stripping.

4.3. Hanging the TV

  1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
  2. Hook the top edges of the TV brackets onto the top rail of the wall plate.
  3. Gently lower the TV until the brackets fully engage with the wall plate. Ensure both brackets are securely seated.
  4. Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms at the bottom of the TV brackets. Tighten these to secure the TV to the wall plate and prevent accidental dislodging.
  5. Connect all necessary cables to your TV.

5. Operating the Tilt Function

This wall mount allows for vertical tilt adjustment to reduce glare and optimize viewing angles.

  1. To adjust the tilt, locate the tilt adjustment knobs or bolts on the side of the vertical TV brackets.
  2. Loosen these knobs/bolts slightly (do not remove them).
  3. Carefully tilt the TV to your desired angle.
  4. Once the desired angle is achieved, firmly tighten the tilt adjustment knobs/bolts to secure the TV in position.
