Setup and Assembly

Assembly is straightforward and requires minimal tools, which are included. Please follow these general steps:

1. Attach Casters to Star Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of the star base arms until they click securely into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the star base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it with the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat.
4. Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to both the seat cushion and the backrest using the designated screws. Do not overtighten initially.
5. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the central hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift.
6. Final Tightening: Once all parts are loosely assembled, gently tighten all screws. Do not overtighten to avoid stripping threads.

Operating Instructions

Your SONGMICS Office Chair OBG57B offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort:

1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up slightly and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.

• Adjustable Range: Approximately 51 cm to 61 cm (20.1 inches to 24 inches) from the floor.

2. Tilt Function and Lock

The chair features a tilt mechanism allowing the backrest and seat to recline together. To activate the tilt, pull the same lever (used for height adjustment) outwards. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever inwards.

The tension of the tilt mechanism can be adjusted by rotating the round knob located under the front of the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

3. Swivel Function

The chair is designed to swivel 360 degrees, allowing for easy movement and access to different areas of your workspace without needing to reposition the entire chair.

4. Casters

The five high-quality polyurethane casters allow for smooth and quiet movement across various floor surfaces, protecting your flooring from scratches.
