3. Setup and Installation
The Resonate RouterUPS® Gen2 features a plug-and-play design for quick and easy installation, typically within 30 seconds. Follow these steps to set up your device:
- Check Router Compatibility: Ensure your WiFi router operates on 12V and requires up to 2A of power. You can find this information on your router's power label. For high-power routers (e.g., NetLink, Syrotech, Alphion), consider the CRU12V3A variant.
- Connect RouterUPS: Disconnect your router's original AC/DC adapter from the router. Connect the output cable from the RouterUPS® to your WiFi router's power input port.
- Connect Router Adapter: Connect your router's original AC/DC adapter to the input port of the RouterUPS®. Then, plug the router's adapter into a wall outlet.
- Power On: Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the RouterUPS® is in the 'ON' position. The power indicator light will illuminate.
