Setup

- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the non-stick cooking plate with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Placement: Place the crepe maker on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance. Keep it away from walls and cabinets during operation.
- Power Connection: Ensure the temperature control knob is set to the "OFF" position before plugging the unit into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Preheating:
- Plug the crepe maker into an electrical outlet. The red power indicator light will illuminate.
- Turn the temperature control knob to your desired setting (e.g., Medium for crepes, High for faster cooking).
- Allow the unit to preheat. The green "Ready" indicator light will illuminate when the desired temperature is reached. This may take several minutes.
- First Use Seasoning (Optional but Recommended): For optimal non-stick performance, lightly brush or wipe the cooking surface with a small amount of cooking oil after preheating. Allow it to heat for a minute, then wipe off any excess oil with a paper towel.
- Making Crepes:
- Once the green light indicates readiness, pour a small amount of crepe batter (approximately 1/4 cup for a thin crepe) onto the center of the hot cooking plate.
- Immediately use the wooden crepe spreader to spread the batter evenly in a circular motion from the center outwards, creating a thin, round crepe.
- Cook for approximately 1-2 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown and lift, and the surface appears set.
- Using the wooden spatula, gently lift and flip the crepe. Cook the other side for about 30-60 seconds, or until lightly golden.
- Remove the cooked crepe and place it on a plate. Repeat the process for remaining batter.
- Other Uses: The crepe maker can also be used as a griddle for cooking pancakes, eggs, bacon, or other flat breakfast items. Adjust the temperature as needed for different foods.
- Finishing: When cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knob to the "OFF" position and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
