1. Product Overview
The IcyBreeze Cooler Chill Package is a portable cooling unit designed to provide personal air conditioning without a rechargeable battery. This unit operates directly from either a 12-volt power source (such as a car cigarette lighter) or a 110-volt standard wall receptacle, depending on the model purchased. It functions as both a cooler for beverages and a personal air conditioner, utilizing ice to produce cold air.
Key features include rugged polyethylene construction, a 3-speed fan, and an integrated vent with a flexible hose for directed airflow.
2. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present in your package:
- IcyBreeze Cooler Unit
- Power Adapter (either 12V or 110V, depending on model)
- Integrated Vent and Flexible Hose
3. Setup Instructions
3.1. Power Connection
Connect the appropriate power adapter to the IcyBreeze unit and a compatible power source.
- For 12V Models: Plug the 12-volt power supply cord into the unit and then into a 12V car cigarette lighter/power outlet. This provides continuous power and does not charge any optional battery pack.
- For 110V Models: Plug the 110-volt power adapter into the unit and then into a standard US wall receptacle. This provides continuous power and does not charge any optional battery pack.

3.2. Filling with Ice and Water
- Open the lid of the IcyBreeze cooler.
- Fill the cooler with ice. The unit can hold approximately 30 lbs of ice. For optimal cooling performance, use block ice or a combination of block and cubed ice.
- Add a small amount of water (approximately 1-2 quarts) to submerge the internal pump, ensuring efficient circulation. Do not overfill.
- Close the lid securely.

3.3. Positioning the Flexible Hose
Adjust the integrated flexible hose to direct the cold airflow to your desired area. The hose is designed to stay in position once adjusted.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Powering On and Fan Speed Selection
Once connected to a power source and filled with ice and water, locate the fan control switch on the unit. The IcyBreeze features a 3-speed fan:
- Low: For quiet operation and extended ice life.
- Medium: Balanced cooling and fan speed.
- High: Maximum airflow, up to 25 MPH, for rapid cooling.
Select your desired fan speed. The unit will immediately begin circulating cold air.
4.2. Ice Replenishment and Drainage
The IcyBreeze operates by circulating air over ice. As the ice melts, the cooling effect will diminish. Replenish ice as needed to maintain optimal performance. The cooler is equipped with a drain plug for easy removal of melted ice water.
- To drain water, ensure the unit is powered off.
- Locate the drain plug on the side or bottom of the cooler.
- Open the drain plug to allow water to exit.
- Close the drain plug securely after draining.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Unit
Regular cleaning helps maintain performance and hygiene.
- After each use, drain all melted water from the cooler.
- Wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Rinse thoroughly.
- Ensure the interior is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew growth.
- Clean the exterior with a damp cloth as needed.
5.2. Storage
When not in use, store the IcyBreeze in a cool, dry place with the lid slightly ajar to allow for air circulation and prevent odors.
6. Troubleshooting
- Unit Not Powering On:
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the IcyBreeze unit and the power source (12V outlet or 110V wall receptacle). Verify the power source is active.
- No Cold Air or Reduced Cooling:
Check the ice level. The unit requires ice to produce cold air. Replenish ice as necessary. Ensure there is enough water to submerge the internal pump. Ice duration can vary significantly based on ambient temperature, fan speed, and frequency of lid opening.
- Fan Not Operating:
Confirm the unit is powered on and the fan speed switch is set to Low, Medium, or High. Check power connections.
- Water Leakage:
Ensure the drain plug is securely closed. Check for any visible cracks or damage to the cooler body.
- Important Note on Power Adapters:
The 12V and 110V power adapters are designed for continuous operation of the IcyBreeze unit. They do not charge any optional battery packs. Battery packs, if purchased separately, require their dedicated charger.
