7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | Incorrect wiring, blown fuse, no power. | Check power connections (constant 12V, accessory 12V, ground). Inspect and replace fuses if necessary. |
| No sound. | Speaker wires disconnected, volume too low, mute activated. | Check speaker wiring. Increase volume. Deactivate mute function. |
| Bluetooth connection issues. | Device not in pairing mode, interference, incorrect PIN. | Ensure device Bluetooth is on and discoverable. Re-attempt pairing. Enter '0000' if prompted for PIN. Clear previous pairings on both devices. |
| Radio stations/settings not saved after turning off ignition. | Constant 12V (yellow wire) not connected or incorrectly wired. | Verify that the yellow wire is connected to a constant 12V power source, not an accessory or switched power source. This wire maintains memory. |
| Backup camera not displaying. | Camera not powered, RCA cable disconnected, reverse trigger wire not connected. | Check camera power connection (to reverse light). Ensure RCA cable is securely connected. Verify the reverse trigger wire is correctly connected to the vehicle's reverse signal. |
