3. Setup Guide

3.1 Connection Tips

Ensure your computer has a USB Type-A port for connection.
Completely plug the USB cable into your computer.
If your computer only has Type-C ports, a suitable adapter is required.
After connecting all cables, allow 30 seconds to 1 minute for the USB hardware driver to load successfully.

3.2 Driver Installation

Download the latest driver from the official XPPen website. Drivers are regularly updated.
Before installing the XPPen driver, remove any other brand's tablet drivers from your computer and reboot to avoid conflicts.
For Windows Users: Close all drawing programs and run the driver installer as Administrator.
For Mac Mojave (10.14) or above Users: After installation, add "PenTabletSetting" and "PenTabletDriverUX" to the accessibility list in your Mac's security settings. Refer to the XPPen FAQ section for detailed steps.

4.1 Using the P01 Stylus

The P01 stylus is battery-free, eliminating the need for charging. It features 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for precise control over line thickness and opacity, mimicking traditional drawing tools.

4.2 Customizable Express Keys

6. Maintenance

6.1 General Care

Keep the tablet clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Protect the tablet surface from scratches. If there is a protective film, ensure it is properly applied or removed as needed.
Avoid exposing the tablet to extreme temperatures or humidity.

6.2 Stylus Nib Replacement

The stylus comes with replacement nibs stored within its holder. To replace a nib, gently pull out the old nib and insert a new one. Ensure the new nib is securely seated.

7. Troubleshooting

Tablet Not Recognized: Ensure the USB cable is fully connected. If using an adapter, verify its functionality. Allow sufficient time for the USB hardware driver to load.
Driver Conflicts: If experiencing issues, ensure all previous tablet drivers from other brands are uninstalled before installing the XPPen driver. Reboot your computer after driver installation.
Stylus Not Responding: Check if the stylus nib is properly seated. Ensure the tablet is correctly connected and drivers are installed.
Tablet is Not a Standalone Product: This device must be connected to a laptop, computer, or Chromebook to function. It is not a standalone device.
