Safety Information

- Do not expose to heat above 50°C (122°F) or prolonged sunlight.

Setup
Fueling the Lighter
The S.T.Dupont MaxiJet Lighter is shipped without gas. It requires high-quality butane gas for operation. Using incorrect gas can damage the lighter and void the warranty.
- Ensure the lighter is completely cool before refilling.
- Invert the lighter, locating the refill valve at the bottom.
- Press the nozzle of the butane gas can firmly and vertically into the refill valve.
- Hold for approximately 5-10 seconds. Repeat if necessary until the fuel window indicates a full level.
- Wait a few minutes after refilling before attempting to ignite the lighter to allow the gas to stabilize.

Operating Instructions
Igniting the Lighter
- Hold the lighter upright.
- Press the ignition button located on the side of the lighter. This will open the cap and activate the ignition system, producing a powerful blue torch flame.
- Release the button to extinguish the flame and close the cap.
Adjusting the Flame
The flame height can be adjusted using the screw located at the bottom of the lighter, next to the refill valve.
- Use a small flat-head screwdriver or a similar tool.
- Turn clockwise to decrease the flame height.
- Turn counter-clockwise to increase the flame height.
- Adjust gradually and test the flame after each adjustment.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the lighter with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Periodically check the burner nozzle for any debris and gently clear it if necessary (ensure lighter is unlit and cool).
Gas Level Check
The lighter features a gas level window to indicate the remaining fuel. Refill when the level is low to ensure consistent performance.

Troubleshooting
