  4. Auxiliary Connection (Optional): If using an external audio device without a dock connector, connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from the headphone jack of your device to the Auxiliary Input on the Soma Travel.

Operating Instructions

Playing Audio:

  • From Docked Device: Once your iPod/iPhone is docked and the unit is powered on, select and play music directly from your device. Audio will automatically play through the Soma Travel speakers.
  • From Auxiliary Input: If an external device is connected via the auxiliary input, ensure your docked device is paused or removed. Play audio from your external device.

Volume Control:

Adjust the volume using the dedicated Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the Soma Travel unit. You may also need to adjust the volume on your docked or auxiliary device.

Charging Docked Device:

When your iPod or iPhone is properly docked and the Soma Travel unit is connected to power, your device will automatically begin charging.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the Soma Travel in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
