1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Connecting Power

  1. Ensure the D-110's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the supplied AC power cable to the AC IN jack on the rear panel of the D-110.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard AC outlet.

4.2 Audio Connections

Connect the D-110's audio outputs to your mixer, amplifier, or audio interface using appropriate audio cables (not included).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Ensure all connections are made, then press the POWER switch on the front panel. The display will illuminate.
  • To Power Off: Press the POWER switch again.

5.2 Basic Sound Selection

The D-110 contains a variety of preset sounds (Tones). Use the front panel buttons and data entry controls to browse and select sounds.

  1. Use the BANK buttons to select a sound bank (e.g., A, B, C, D).
  2. Use the NUMBER buttons or the VALUE dial to select a specific Tone within the bank.
  3. The display will show the name of the selected Tone.

5.3 Multi-Timbral Mode (Performance Mode)

The D-110 can play up to 8 different sounds simultaneously, each assigned to a separate MIDI channel. This is known as Performance Mode.

  1. Press the PERFORMANCE button to enter Performance Mode.
  2. Use the PART buttons to select the MIDI part you wish to edit.
  3. Assign a Tone to each part and set its MIDI channel, volume, pan, and other parameters using the display and controls.
  4. Save your custom performance settings to a user memory location.
