Introduction
Thank you for choosing the BOUDECH 43cc 1.25 Kw Backpack Leaf Blower. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new equipment. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly, operation, or maintenance to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.
Safety Instructions
Always prioritize safety when operating power equipment. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, long pants, and sturdy, non-slip footwear.
- Fuel Handling: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Avoid smoking or open flames near fuel. Store fuel in approved containers.
- Bystanders: Keep children, pets, and other people at a safe distance (at least 15 meters / 50 feet) from the operating area.
- Operating Environment: Do not operate the blower in wet conditions or in areas with poor ventilation. Be aware of your surroundings and potential hazards.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the blower for loose parts, damaged components, or fuel leaks. Do not operate if any issues are found.
- Engine Exhaust: Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, and deadly gas. Operate only in open, well-ventilated areas.

2. Fuel Mixture
This blower uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a mixture of unleaded gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil. The recommended mixing ratio is 25:1 (25 parts gasoline to 1 part 2-stroke oil). Use the provided mixing bottle for accurate measurement.
- Fill the mixing bottle with the required amount of gasoline.
- Add the correct amount of 2-stroke oil according to the 25:1 ratio.
- Securely close the bottle and shake well to ensure thorough mixing.
- Pour the mixed fuel into the blower's fuel tank. Do not overfill.
3. Adjusting the Backpack Harness
Place the blower on your back and adjust the shoulder straps and waist belt for a comfortable and secure fit. The padded straps are designed for maximum comfort during extended use.

Operating Instructions
1. Starting the Engine
- Place the blower on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct fuel mixture.
- Set the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
- Move the choke lever to the 'CLOSED' (start) position.
- Press the primer bulb 5-7 times until fuel is visible in the return line.
- Pull the starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls).
- Once the engine attempts to start, move the choke lever to the 'OPEN' (run) position.
- Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
- Allow the engine to warm up for 30-60 seconds before applying full throttle.
2. Using the Blower
Once the engine is running and warmed up, put on the backpack and adjust the throttle to the desired blowing power. Direct the nozzle towards the debris you wish to clear. The blower features a shock absorption system for reduced vibration during operation.

3. Stopping the Engine
To stop the engine, release the throttle and allow the engine to idle for a few seconds. Then, move the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your blower. Always disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance.
1. Spark Plug Check
Periodically inspect the spark plug for wear, carbon buildup, or damage. Clean or replace as necessary. A properly functioning spark plug is crucial for easy starting and efficient engine operation.

2. Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned regularly, especially in dusty conditions. Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter element, and clean it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before reinstallation. Replace if damaged.
3. Fuel Filter
Inspect the fuel filter located inside the fuel tank periodically. Replace if it appears clogged or dirty to ensure proper fuel flow to the engine.
4. General Cleaning and Storage
After each use, clean the exterior of the blower to remove dirt and debris. For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor of fuel. Store the blower in a dry, clean area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your leaf blower.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine won't start | No fuel, incorrect choke position, fouled spark plug, clogged fuel filter | Check fuel level and mixture, adjust choke, clean/replace spark plug, clean/replace fuel filter |
| Loss of power during operation | Clogged air filter, incorrect fuel mixture, worn spark plug | Clean air filter, verify fuel mixture, inspect/replace spark plug |
| Excessive smoke from exhaust | Too much oil in fuel mixture, incorrect oil type | Ensure correct 25:1 fuel-to-oil ratio, use proper 2-stroke engine oil |
