Setup
Unpacking
Carefully remove your binoculars and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage. If any components are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.
Attaching the Wrist Strap
Locate the strap loops on the side of the binocular body. Thread the narrow end of the wrist strap through the loop and secure it firmly. This helps prevent accidental drops.
Adjusting Eyecups
The Stinger binoculars feature twist-up eyecups to accommodate different users:
- For non-eyeglass wearers: Twist the eyecups counter-clockwise until they are fully extended. This positions your eyes at the optimal distance from the eyepieces.
- For eyeglass wearers: Keep the eyecups in the down (retracted) position. This allows your eyeglasses to be closer to the lenses, providing a full field of view.
Operating Instructions
Adjusting Interpupillary Distance (IPD)
Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through them. Bend the body of the binoculars at the central hinge until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This adjusts the distance between the eyepieces to match the distance between your pupils.
Focusing
- Close your right eye and focus the left barrel by rotating the center focus knob until the image in your left eye is sharp.
- Open your right eye and close your left eye. Rotate the right diopter adjustment ring (located on the right eyepiece) until the image in your right eye is sharp.
- Both eyes are now independently focused. For subsequent viewing at different distances, use only the center focus knob to adjust for sharpness.

Maintenance
Cleaning Lenses
Use the included microfiber cleaning cloth to gently wipe away dust or smudges from the lenses. For stubborn dirt or fingerprints, breathe lightly on the lens surface to create condensation, then gently wipe with the microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive cloths, paper towels, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch the lens coatings.
Storage
When not in use, store your binoculars in the soft pouch provided. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperatures. Avoid storing them in areas where they might be exposed to chemicals or solvents.
Troubleshooting
Blurry Image
- Ensure both the center focus knob and the right diopter adjustment are correctly set for your eyes and the viewing distance.
- Check if the lenses are clean and free from smudges or dust.
Double Image / Difficulty Merging Views
- Re-adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD) by bending the binocular body until a single, circular field of view is achieved.
