Setup and Assembly

  1. Prepare the Laser Diode: Ensure your 9.0mm TO-5 laser diode is clean and free of dust.
  2. Insert Laser Diode: Carefully insert the 9.0mm TO-5 laser diode into the designated slot within the housing. Ensure proper orientation.
  3. Install Lens: Screw the coated glass lens into the front of the housing. Be gentle to avoid cross-threading. The lens is designed for 405nm-480nm violet/blue lasers. (Note: Lens type, full-thread or half-thread, may vary and will be sent randomly.)
  4. Mount Cooling Fan: If the fan is not pre-attached, secure it to the housing using the provided screws and spacers. Ensure the fan's airflow is directed to optimize cooling for the laser diode.
  5. Connect Power: Connect the fan's power wires to an appropriate power source. Observe correct polarity (typically red for positive, black for negative).
