Setup Guide

1. Unboxing and Initial Placement

Carefully remove the Titan-EX range extender and its components from the packaging. Place the extender in a central location between your existing Wi-Fi router and the area where you need extended coverage. Ensure it is within the range of your current Wi-Fi signal.

2. Powering On

Connect the power adapter to the Titan-EX and plug it into an electrical outlet. Wait for the power indicator light on the device to become stable, indicating it has successfully powered on.

3. Connecting to Your Existing Wi-Fi Network

There are two primary methods to connect the Titan-EX to your existing Wi-Fi network:

Method A: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

1. Press the WPS button on your existing Wi-Fi router.
2. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the Titan-EX.
3. The WPS indicator light on the Titan-EX will flash and then turn solid, indicating a successful connection.

Method B: Web Browser Setup

1. Connect your computer or mobile device to the Titan-EX's default Wi-Fi network (SSID and password can be found on the device label).
2. Open a web browser and navigate to the extender's setup page (refer to the included setup guide for the specific URL, typically setup.ampedwireless.com or an IP address).
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for available Wi-Fi networks and select your existing network.
4. Enter your existing Wi-Fi password when prompted.
5. Configure the extended network's SSID and password (you can choose to keep them the same as your main network or create new ones).
6. Save the settings and wait for the extender to restart.

4. Optimal Placement with Signal Strength Indicator

The Titan-EX features a built-in signal strength indicator. After initial setup, you can relocate the extender to find the best position for maximum coverage. The indicator lights will help you determine the strength of the signal received from your main router. Aim for a strong signal (e.g., green lights) to ensure optimal performance of the extended network.

Operating Instructions

Once the Titan-EX is successfully set up, it will automatically extend your Wi-Fi network. Devices within the extended range will connect to the extender, providing improved signal strength and data rates. The extender operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, allowing your devices to connect to the most suitable frequency for their needs.

• Connecting Devices: Connect your Wi-Fi enabled devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, gaming consoles, etc.) to the extended Wi-Fi network using the SSID and password configured during setup.
• Dual-Band Operation: The extender supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. The 2.4 GHz band offers wider coverage, while the 5 GHz band provides faster speeds and is less prone to interference. Your devices will typically connect to the optimal band automatically.
• Ethernet Ports: The Titan-EX includes RJ45 Ethernet ports. You can connect wired devices such as desktop computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs directly to these ports for a stable, high-speed connection.

Troubleshooting

• No Internet Access:

• Slow Speeds:
