3. Setup and Preparation

The Juvo Toilet Aid requires minimal setup. Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present: the toilet aid wand and the hygienic tip cover.

  1. Gather Tissue: Fold or ball together 4-5 sheets of standard toilet tissue, or use one flushable wipe.
  2. Insert Tissue: Place the prepared tissue or wipe between the soft rubberized tips of the toilet aid. Approximately half of the tissue should be sticking out above the tips.
  3. Secure Tissue: Squeeze the E-Z Squeeze Trigger on the handle to lock the tissue firmly in place. Ensure the tissue is held securely and will not slip during use.

4. Operating Instructions

The Juvo Toilet Aid can be used from either a front or back approach, depending on individual comfort and mobility needs.

4.1 Using the Toilet Aid

  1. Positioning: Once tissue is secured, position the toilet aid to reach the desired area.
  2. Cleaning: Perform cleaning as needed. The extended reach of the wand minimizes strain and discomfort.
  3. Discharging Tissue (Front Use): For front approach, press Push Button #2 to release the soiled tissue into the toilet.

  5. Repeat: Repeat steps 1-4 as necessary with fresh tissue until clean.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

6. Troubleshooting

  • Tissue/Wipe Slips Out: Ensure the E-Z Squeeze Trigger is fully engaged. If using pre-moistened wipes, try folding them to create more thickness for a secure grip between the rubberized tips.
  • Soiled Tissue Does Not Release: Verify that you are pressing the correct release button (#1 for back, #2 for front) firmly. If the mechanism feels stiff, ensure no debris is obstructing the release path.
  • Locking Mechanism Wear: Over extended periods of use, the plastic catch in the locking mechanism may show signs of wear. If the device no longer securely holds tissue, contact Juvo customer support for assistance.
