Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the provided Lithium-Ion battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Connect the camera to a USB power source using the supplied USB cable to charge the battery. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- Charging is complete when the indicator light turns off.
2. MicroSD Card Installation
A MicroSD card (not included) is required to store videos and photos. The camera supports cards up to 64GB.
- Ensure the camera is powered off.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Insert the MicroSD card with the contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.
3. Using the Waterproof Housing
The waterproof housing allows the camera to be used up to 40 meters (130 feet) underwater.
- Open the latch on the waterproof housing.
- Carefully place the ISAW Edge camera inside the housing, ensuring it fits snugly.
- Close the latch firmly to create a watertight seal.
- Before first use in water, perform a leak test with the camera removed.

Operating the Camera
1. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button (orange) for approximately 3 seconds. The LCD screen will illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for approximately 3 seconds. The LCD screen will turn off.
2. Mode Selection
Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: Video Recording, Photo Mode, Playback Mode, and Settings.
3. Recording Video
- Ensure the camera is in Video Recording mode (indicated by a video icon on the LCD).
- Press the Shutter/Select button once to start recording. A red recording indicator will flash.
- Press the Shutter/Select button again to stop recording. The indicator will stop flashing.
4. Taking Photos
- Ensure the camera is in Photo Mode (indicated by a camera icon on the LCD).
- Press the Shutter/Select button once to take a photo. The screen may briefly flash.
5. Wi-Fi Connectivity and App Usage
The ISAW Edge features Wi-Fi connectivity for remote control and file transfer via a mobile application.
- Download the official ISAW mobile application from your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Play Store for Android).
- On the camera, navigate to the Settings menu and enable Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi indicator will appear on the LCD.
- On your mobile device, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the ISAW Edge network (e.g., "ISAW_EDGE_XXXX").
- Open the ISAW app. You can now control the camera, view live footage, and download content.
6. Settings Menu Navigation
Access various camera settings such as video resolution, photo resolution, loop recording, time-lapse, date/time, and Wi-Fi settings.
- From any mode, press the Setup button to enter the settings menu.
- Use the Mode button to scroll through menu options.
- Press the Shutter/Select button to confirm a selection or enter a sub-menu.
- Press the Setup button again to exit the settings menu.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera lens and LCD screen. For the waterproof housing, rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and allow to air dry.
