1. Safety Information

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required. Follow these steps for quick and easy setup.

1. Prepare the Base: Place the large chrome base plate on a flat, stable surface. Insert the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the base plate. Ensure the anti-slip plastic ring is correctly positioned on the underside of the base to protect your floor.
2. Attach the Footrest: Slide the footrest ring over the top of the gas lift cylinder.
3. Prepare the Seat: Carefully remove any protective plastic caps from the top of the gas lift cylinder. This is crucial for the height adjustment mechanism to function correctly.
4. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Align the mounting plate under the seat with the top of the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure the seat onto the gas lift.
5. Secure the Seat: Using the provided screws and tools from the accessory pack, attach the seat to the gas lift mechanism. Typically, there are 8 screws to secure the padded seat to the metal frame.

4.1 Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height:

• To raise the seat: Lift the adjustment lever located under the seat while standing up. The seat will automatically rise.
• To lower the seat: Lift the adjustment lever while seated. The seat will lower under your weight. Release the lever at the desired height.

4.2 360° Swivel Function

The seat can freely rotate 360 degrees, allowing for easy movement and interaction without needing to reposition the entire stool.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bar stools.

5.1 Cleaning

• Faux Leather Upholstery: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Removable Armrest Covers: The armrest covers are removable for easy cleaning. Follow the care instructions on the label if available, or hand wash with mild soap and air dry.
• Chrome-Plated Steel: Clean with a soft, dry cloth. For smudges or fingerprints, use a chrome cleaner or a damp cloth with a small amount of glass cleaner, then buff dry.
• Base Plate: After cleaning, ensure the base plate is thoroughly dried to prevent rust, especially if exposed to moisture.

5.2 General Care

• Regularly check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can damage the faux leather.
• Do not use sharp objects on the upholstery to prevent tears or punctures.

6. Troubleshooting

Common issues and their solutions.

• Seat does not adjust height:
  Ensure that the protective plastic cap on the top of the gas lift cylinder has been completely removed during assembly. If it's still present, the gas lift cannot function.
• Stool feels wobbly:
  Check all assembly screws and bolts, especially those connecting the seat to the mechanism and the footrest to the gas lift. Tighten any loose connections. Ensure the base is on a flat, even surface.
• Gas lift sinks or does not hold height:
  This indicates a potential issue with the gas lift cylinder. If the stool is still under warranty, contact customer support. Otherwise, a replacement gas lift may be required.
• Scratches on the floor:
  Verify that the anti-slip plastic ring on the underside of the base plate is correctly installed and intact. If damaged, it may need replacement.
