Parts List
Before assembly, ensure all parts are present:

- 2 x Support Bars (connects the two panels under the mattress)
- 4 x Adjustable Straps with Buckles (for securing to bed frame/box spring)
- Instruction Manual
Setup and Installation
Assembly is quick and easy, requiring no tools. The bedrail set can be installed on both sides of the bed.
- Assemble Bedrail Panels: Connect the metal frame pieces for each bedrail panel. Ensure they snap securely into place.
- Attach Fabric Cover: Slide the fabric and mesh cover over the assembled metal frames. Zip up the cover to ensure a snug fit.
- Position Bedrails: Place one bedrail panel on each side of the bed, against the mattress.
- Connect Support Bars: Lift the mattress. Connect the two support bars to the bottom of each bedrail panel. These bars will extend across the bed, underneath the mattress.
- Secure with Straps: Thread the adjustable straps through the designated slots on the bedrail base and around the bed frame or box spring. Tighten the straps firmly to ensure the bedrails are snug against the mattress and cannot be easily moved.
- Lower Mattress: Carefully lower the mattress back onto the bed, ensuring it rests on the support bars and securely holds the bedrails in place.

Maintenance
To keep your Summer Infant Double Safety Bedrail clean, wipe the fabric and mesh cover with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the material.
Troubleshooting
- Bedrail feels loose: Ensure the adjustable straps are pulled tight and securely fastened around the bed frame or box spring. Verify that the mattress is properly seated on the support bars.
- Bedrail does not fold down smoothly: Check for any obstructions around the hinges. Ensure the release buttons/levers are fully engaged.
- Child attempting to climb over: This bedrail is designed as a deterrent. If your child consistently attempts to climb over, they may be ready to transition out of a bedrail. Always supervise your child.
