The pacifier thermometer comes with one unknown type battery included and pre-installed. If replacement is ever needed, refer to the battery compartment on the device. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, and after each subsequent use, clean the pacifier thermometer and medicine dispenser thoroughly. Refer to the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section for detailed instructions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Pacifier Thermometer

  1. Ensure the pacifier thermometer is clean and dry.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. A brief display test will show all segments, followed by the last measured temperature or 'Lo' if the ambient temperature is below the measurement range.
  3. Place the pacifier in your baby's mouth, ensuring the nipple is fully inserted and the baby is sucking on it.
  4. Keep the pacifier in the baby's mouth until the temperature reading stabilizes. This usually takes a few minutes. The display will show the measured temperature.
  5. Read the temperature displayed. Note: The thermometer displays temperature in Celsius only and cannot be changed to Fahrenheit.
  6. Press the power button again to turn off the thermometer, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.

4.2 Using the Medicine Dispenser

  1. Separate the medicine dispenser cup from the pacifier thermometer.
  2. Fill the medicine dispenser cup with the prescribed dose of liquid medication. The cup has clear markings for accurate measurement (e.g., 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 oz).
  3. Carefully reattach the pacifier thermometer to the filled medicine dispenser cup, ensuring a secure fit.
  4. Place the pacifier in your baby's mouth. As the baby sucks, the medicine will be dispensed through the nipple.
  5. Ensure the baby consumes the full dose.

  • Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
  • Storage: Store the product in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Display/Device Not Turning On: Check if the battery is correctly installed. If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement.
  • Inaccurate or Inconsistent Readings: Ensure the pacifier is properly placed in the baby's mouth and held steady for the recommended duration. Ensure the device is clean. If readings remain inconsistent, the thermometer may be faulty.
