3. Setup and Initial Use
3.1 Battery Installation
The pacifier thermometer comes with one unknown type battery included and pre-installed. If replacement is ever needed, refer to the battery compartment on the device. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
3.2 Initial Cleaning

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Using the Pacifier Thermometer
- Ensure the pacifier thermometer is clean and dry.
- Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. A brief display test will show all segments, followed by the last measured temperature or 'Lo' if the ambient temperature is below the measurement range.
- Place the pacifier in your baby's mouth, ensuring the nipple is fully inserted and the baby is sucking on it.
- Keep the pacifier in the baby's mouth until the temperature reading stabilizes. This usually takes a few minutes. The display will show the measured temperature.
- Read the temperature displayed. Note: The thermometer displays temperature in Celsius only and cannot be changed to Fahrenheit.
- Press the power button again to turn off the thermometer, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.
4.2 Using the Medicine Dispenser
- Separate the medicine dispenser cup from the pacifier thermometer.
- Fill the medicine dispenser cup with the prescribed dose of liquid medication. The cup has clear markings for accurate measurement (e.g., 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 oz).
- Carefully reattach the pacifier thermometer to the filled medicine dispenser cup, ensuring a secure fit.
- Place the pacifier in your baby's mouth. As the baby sucks, the medicine will be dispensed through the nipple.
- Ensure the baby consumes the full dose.
- After administration, disassemble and clean both parts immediately.
