4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, clean all removable parts as described in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section. Ensure the appliance is unplugged before assembly.

  1. Position the Motor Unit: Place the motor unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
  2. Attach the Mixing Bowl: Place the mixing bowl onto the motor unit. Align the arrow on the bowl with the arrow on the motor unit and turn clockwise until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Insert Accessories:
    • For Chopping/Kneading: Carefully place the universal blade onto the drive shaft in the mixing bowl.
    • For Slicing/Grating: Place the disc holder onto the drive shaft, then carefully place the desired reversible disc onto the disc holder. Ensure the correct side of the disc (for slicing or grating) faces upwards.
    • For Whisking/Beating: Place the whisking disc onto the drive shaft.
  4. Secure the Lid: Place the lid onto the mixing bowl. Align the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the mixing bowl handle and turn clockwise until it locks. The appliance will not start if the lid is not correctly locked.
  5. Attach the Blender (if using): Place the blender jug onto the motor unit, aligning the arrows and turning clockwise until it locks. Ensure the blender lid is also securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, plug the appliance into a power outlet. The control dial allows you to select speed settings.

5.1. Speed Control

  • "0/off": Turns the appliance off.
  • "1": Low speed for softer ingredients or gentle mixing.
  • "2": High speed for harder ingredients or faster processing.
  • "M" (Pulse Function): For short bursts of maximum power. Turn the dial to "M" and hold; release to stop. Ideal for crushing ice or achieving coarse textures.

5.2. Using the Mixing Bowl (Chopping, Kneading, Whisking)

Ensure the universal blade or whisking disc is correctly installed.

  1. Place ingredients into the mixing bowl. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  2. Secure the lid with the pusher in the filler opening.
  3. Select the desired speed (1, 2, or M).
  4. After processing, turn the dial to "0/off" and unplug the appliance.
  5. Carefully remove the lid, then the blade/disc, and empty the bowl.

5.3. Using Slicing and Grating Discs

Ensure the disc holder and desired reversible disc are correctly installed.

  1. Secure the lid.
  2. Turn the appliance on to speed "1" or "2".
  3. Feed ingredients through the filler opening using the pusher. Apply even, gentle pressure.
  4. After processing, turn the dial to "0/off" and unplug.

5.4. Using the Blender Attachment

The 1.0-liter blender is suitable for preparing smoothies, soups, sauces, and crushing ice.

  1. Attach the blender jug to the motor unit and secure its lid.
  2. Add ingredients to the blender jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
