1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The SUPERIOR Universal Remote Control requires two 1.5V LR03 (AAA) batteries for operation.

Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
Slide the cover downwards or press the latch to open the compartment.
Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3.2 Initial Configuration

This SUPERIOR remote control is designed to be compatible with YORK MCH25P17 air conditioning units right out of the box. In most cases, no complex programming or code entry is required.

After installing the batteries, point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your YORK MCH25P17 air conditioning unit.
Press the Power button. The air conditioning unit should respond by turning on or off.
