4.1. Power Failure Light Mode

When the device is plugged into a live wall outlet and the side switch is set to 'AUTO', the front panel lights will automatically illuminate if the power supply to the outlet is interrupted. This provides immediate illumination during a power outage, helping you navigate safely.

4.2. Handheld Flashlight Mode

To use the device as a portable flashlight:

1. Remove from Outlet: Unplug the device from the wall outlet.
2. Retract Plug: Fold in the retractable plug for comfortable handheld use.
3. Activate Flashlight: Slide the side switch to the appropriate 'AUTO' setting (typically the top 'AUTO' position) to activate the top-facing flashlight beam. Alternatively, you can manually turn it on/off using the switch.

4.3. 24-Hour Guide Light Mode

When the device is plugged into a live wall outlet and the side switch is set to 'AUTO', a continuous red glow will be visible from the indicator light. This indicates that the unit is receiving power and its battery is being charged, ensuring it is ready for a power outage. This mode does not provide significant ambient light and is not intended as a nightlight.
