Setup
Battery Installation:
The chronometer is powered by one CR2032 button cell battery, which is included. The battery is typically pre-installed. If the display is dim or not working, you may need to replace the battery.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the chronometer.
- Carefully open the compartment cover using a small screwdriver or coin.
- Remove the old battery (if any) and insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Initial Time and Date Setting:
Upon first use or after battery replacement, you may need to set the current time and date.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until the time display (hours, minutes, seconds) is shown.
- Press and hold the MODE button for a few seconds until the hour digits start flashing.
- Use the START/STOP button to adjust the hour.
- Press the SPLIT/RESET button to move to the next setting (minutes, then 12/24 hour format, then month, date, day).
- Use the START/STOP button to adjust each setting.
- Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode.
Operating Instructions
The chronometer has three main modes: Stopwatch, Time, and Alarm. Use the MODE button to cycle through these functions.

1. Stopwatch Function:
This is the primary function for timing events.
- Press the MODE button until "STOPWATCH" or a similar indicator appears, and the display shows "0:00:00".
- To start timing, press the START/STOP button. The timer will begin counting.
- To record a split time (lap time), press the SPLIT/RESET button while the stopwatch is running. The display will momentarily show the split time, while the internal timer continues to run. Press SPLIT/RESET again to return to the running time.
- To stop timing, press the START/STOP button. The elapsed time will remain on the display.
- To reset the stopwatch to zero, press the SPLIT/RESET button when the stopwatch is stopped.
2. Time and Date Display:
To view the current time and date:
- Press the MODE button until the current time and date are displayed. The display will show hours, minutes, seconds, and the day of the week, month, and date.
3. Alarm Function:
The chronometer can be used as an alarm clock.
- Press the MODE button until the alarm time is displayed (often indicated by an alarm icon or "AL").
- To set the alarm time, press and hold the START/STOP button until the hour digits flash.
- Use the SPLIT/RESET button to adjust the hour.
- Press the MODE button to move to the minute setting, then use SPLIT/RESET to adjust minutes.
- Press MODE again to confirm and exit alarm setting.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the START/STOP button while in alarm display mode. An alarm icon will appear or disappear to indicate its status.
- When the alarm sounds, press any button to silence it.
Maintenance
Care and Cleaning:
- Wipe the chronometer with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the casing or display.
- Avoid exposing the chronometer to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity.
- While designed for sports, this chronometer is not waterproof. Avoid submersion in water or exposure to heavy rain.
Battery Replacement:
Refer to the "Battery Installation" section under "Setup" for instructions on replacing the CR2032 battery when the display becomes dim or stops functioning.
