Introduction

The Ano CL2300 Canister Light is a high-performance technical diving light designed for underwater exploration. With its robust construction and powerful illumination, it provides reliable lighting for various diving conditions.

Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are present and in good condition. The CL2300 is powered by rechargeable ICR 18650x6 batteries, which are included.

Battery Installation/Charging:
The light comes with pre-installed rechargeable batteries. Before initial use, fully charge the battery pack using the provided charger. Refer to the charger's instructions for proper charging procedures. Ensure the battery canister is dry and clean before opening for charging or inspection.
Connecting the Light Head and Canister:
Carefully connect the light head to the battery canister using the 1.5-meter cord. Ensure the connection is secure and the O-rings are properly seated and lubricated to maintain the waterproof seal. Do not overtighten.

Pre-Dive Check:
Before each dive, perform a visual inspection of the light. Check for any signs of damage, ensure the cord is not pinched, and confirm the O-rings are clean and properly sealed. Briefly turn on the light to confirm functionality.

Operating Instructions

The Ano CL2300 features a user-friendly magnetic slide button for easy operation, even with gloves.

Power On/Off:
To turn the light ON, slide the magnetic button forward (towards the light head). To turn the light OFF, slide the button backward (away from the light head).
Changing Power Modes:
The CL2300 has three power modes: High, Mid, and Low. To cycle through the modes, quickly slide the button forward and then backward. Each quick toggle will advance to the next mode in the sequence: High → Mid → Low → High.

Burn Time:
The approximate burn time on the High setting is 3 hours. Burn times will be longer on Mid and Low settings. Monitor battery life during extended dives.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and reliable performance of your Ano CL2300 Canister Light.

Rinsing: After each dive, thoroughly rinse the light and canister with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and other debris. Operate the magnetic switch several times during rinsing to flush out any trapped particles.
Drying: Dry the light completely with a soft cloth before storage. Pay special attention to the connection points and the magnetic switch area.
O-Ring Care: Periodically inspect the O-rings for cuts, cracks, or signs of wear. Clean the O-rings and their grooves, and apply a thin layer of silicone grease. Replace damaged O-rings immediately.
Battery Care: Always fully charge the battery pack after each use, even if only partially discharged. Store the light with a charged battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid completely draining the battery, as this can reduce its lifespan.
Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, consider removing the battery pack or ensuring it is charged every few months.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Ano CL2300, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Light does not turn on.	Battery is discharged. Poor connection between light head and canister. Magnetic switch stuck or dirty.	Charge the battery fully. Ensure the cord connection is secure and O-rings are clean. Rinse the switch area thoroughly and operate it to free any debris.
