2. What's in the Box

  • 1 x Ball-type Anti-wind Foam Cap
  • 1 x Microphone Power Cable (XLR to 3.5mm TRS)

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Neewer NW-800 microphone:

  1. Attach the Shock Mount: Secure the microphone into the shock mount. The shock mount effectively reduces handling noise and vibrations.

  2. Connect the Power Cable: Connect the XLR end of the power cable to the microphone.
  3. Connect to Your Device:
    • For PCs/Laptops (with 3.5mm input): Connect the 3.5mm TRS end of the power cable to your computer's microphone input (often pink).
    • For Optimal Performance (with 48V Phantom Power): For best results, connect the microphone to a 48V phantom power supply or a mixer with built-in phantom power using an XLR to XLR cable (not included).

  4. Install Anti-wind Foam Cap: Place the ball-type anti-wind foam cap over the microphone head to reduce wind interference and plosive sounds.
