1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the proper installation, use, and care of your BDK AS609 Windshield Sun Shade and Side Window Sunshades. This product is designed to protect your vehicle's interior from harmful UV rays, reduce internal temperatures, and provide privacy.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Windshield Sun Shade Installation

1. Before installation, measure your vehicle's windshield to ensure the 58 x 28 inch sun shade provides adequate coverage.
2. Unfold the main sun shade.
3. Place the sun shade against the inside of your front windshield, with the reflective side facing outwards.
4. Position it to cover the entire windshield area. The design allows for flexibility around the rearview mirror.
5. Lower your vehicle's sun visors to hold the sun shade securely in place against the windshield.

4.2 Side Window Sunshades Installation

1. Identify the two smaller side window sunshades. These are typically used for rear side windows.
2. Ensure the window surface is clean and dry for optimal suction cup adhesion.
3. Press the suction cups firmly against the glass on the inside of your side windows to secure the sunshades.
4. If a suction cup detaches from the fabric ring, carefully reinsert it. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Folding and Storage

When not in use, the windshield sun shade can be easily folded for compact storage:

1. Remove the sun shade from the windshield.
2. Fold the sun shade in an accordion style along its creases.
3. Once folded, use the attached Velcro strap to secure it, keeping it compact.
4. Store the folded sun shade in a convenient location, such as behind the front seat or in the trunk.

7.1 Sun Shade Does Not Fit My Windshield

The BDK AS609 sun shade measures 58 x 28 inches. Vehicle windshield sizes vary significantly. If the sun shade does not cover your entire windshield, it may be too small for your specific vehicle model. Always measure your windshield before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

7.2 Side Window Sunshades Do Not Stay Attached

Ensure the window surface is clean and free of dust or residue before applying the suction cups. Press the suction cups firmly against the glass. If a suction cup becomes detached from the fabric ring, carefully reinsert it into the ring's opening.
