Please read this instruction manual carefully before operating your air purifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or injury. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Always unplug the air purifier before moving, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact customer service.
- Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not use the air purifier in wet or damp environments, such as bathrooms.
- Ensure the unit is placed on a firm, level surface.
- Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance from walls and furniture.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

The Bionaire BAP600-CN Air Purifier is designed to improve indoor air quality in small rooms up to 112 square feet. It features a permanent HEPA-type filter that captures up to 99% of airborne pollutants as small as 2 microns, including dust, pet dander, and pollen. Setup
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Remove any plastic bags or protective materials.
- Retain the packaging for storage or if the unit needs to be transported.
Placement:
- Place the air purifier on a firm, level, and stable surface.
- Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clearance on all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity.
Power Connection:
- Before plugging in, ensure the unit is switched off.
- Plug the power cord directly into a 220-240V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
Operating Instructions
The control panel is located on the front of the unit and features intuitive buttons for easy operation.
Control Panel Functions:
- Power Button (U): Press to turn the air purifier ON or OFF.
- Fan Speed Buttons (1, 2, 3): Select your desired fan speed. '1' is the lowest speed for quiet operation, '3' is the highest speed for maximum air purification.
- Ionizer Button (~): Press to activate or deactivate the optional ionizer function. The ionizer helps to enhance particle removal.
- Night Light Button (O): Press to turn the blue night light ON or OFF.
- Filter Reset Button (F): This button illuminates when the filter needs cleaning. After cleaning, press and hold this button for 3-5 seconds to reset the indicator.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air purifier. The BAP600-CN features a permanent HEPA-type filter that does not require replacement, only periodic cleaning.

Cleaning the Permanent HEPA-Type Filter:
The filter should be cleaned approximately once a month, or more frequently depending on air quality and usage. The Filter Reset indicator light will illuminate when cleaning is recommended.
- Ensure the air purifier is turned OFF and unplugged from the wall outlet.
- Turn the unit upside down. Twist the base counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Carefully pull out the permanent HEPA-type filter.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently clean the pleated surface of the filter. Remove any accumulated dust and debris. Do not wash the filter with water or any liquids.
- Reinsert the clean filter into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Replace the base and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
- Plug the unit back in and turn it ON. Press and hold the Filter Reset button for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
Cleaning the Exterior:
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the air purifier with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
- Ensure no water enters the internal components.
Troubleshooting
If your air purifier is not operating as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
