Control Buttons and Functions:
- ON/OFF: Powers the unit on or off.
- SLEEP: Activates the sleep timer function.
- PRE/M+: Used for setting radio presets and memory functions.
- TIME: Enters time setting mode.
- HOUR: Adjusts the hour in time/alarm setting mode.
- MIN: Adjusts the minute in time/alarm setting mode.
- TUNING (Left/Right Arrows): Tunes radio frequency up or down.
- VOLUME (+/-): Adjusts the audio volume.
- AL1 / AL2: Activates or sets Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.
- SNOOZE: Temporarily silences the alarm for a short period.
Setup
- Power Connection: Connect the AC power cord to a standard AC 230V ~ 50Hz wall outlet. The unit will power on and the display will light up.
- FM Antenna: Extend the FM wire antenna fully for optimal radio reception. Position it away from other electronic devices to minimize interference.
- Battery Backup (Optional): For power reserve functionality, insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. This will maintain time and alarm settings during a power outage.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME button until the display starts flashing.
- Press the HOUR button to adjust the hour.
- Press the MIN button to adjust the minute.
- Press the TIME button again to confirm and exit time setting mode.
Setting Alarms (AL1 / AL2)
The ICR-210 features two independent alarms.
- Press and hold the AL1 or AL2 button until the alarm time display starts flashing.
- Press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minute.
- Press the AL1 or AL2 button again to confirm the alarm time.
- After setting the time, press the AL1 or AL2 button repeatedly to cycle through alarm modes:
- Radio Alarm: Wakes you up to the last tuned radio station.
- Buzzer Alarm: Wakes you up with a standard beep tone.
- Alarm Off: Disables the alarm.
Radio Operation (FM)
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the radio.
- Use the TUNING (Left/Right Arrows) buttons to manually tune to your desired FM frequency.
- Press the VOLUME (+/-) buttons to adjust the listening volume.
Setting Radio Presets:
- Tune to the desired radio station.
- Press and hold the PRE/M+ button until the preset number flashes.
- Use the TUNING (Left/Right Arrows) buttons to select the desired preset number (e.g., P01, P02).
- Press PRE/M+ again to save the station to the selected preset.
- To recall a preset, briefly press the PRE/M+ button repeatedly to cycle through saved stations.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
Sleep Timer Function
The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.
- While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- Storage: If the unit is not used for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and remove any backup batteries. Store it in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
