1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the ORNO Opera DC Wireless Waterproof Outdoor Doorbell. This device is designed for ease of use and reliable performance, offering a wireless connection with a significant range and a variety of ringtones to suit your preference. 2. Product Components
Your ORNO Opera DC Wireless Doorbell package includes the following components:

3. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the device.
- Do not expose the receiver to water or excessive humidity. The transmitter is IP44 rated, but the receiver is for indoor use only.
- Use only the specified battery types (3 x AAA for receiver, 1 x CR2032 for transmitter).
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
- Keep the device away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong magnetic fields.
4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Battery Installation
Receiver:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the receiver.
- Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
Transmitter (Push Button):
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter.
- Insert 1 x CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). The transmitter typically comes with a battery pre-installed.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
4.2. Mounting the Transmitter
The transmitter can be mounted using the provided self-adhesive pad. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth for optimal adhesion.
- Clean the desired mounting area on your wall or door frame.
- Peel off the protective film from one side of the self-adhesive pad and attach it to the back of the transmitter.
- Peel off the protective film from the other side of the pad.
- Press the transmitter firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
Note: For a more permanent installation, or if the adhesive does not hold well on your surface, consider using small screws (not included) if suitable mounting holes are available on the device.
4.3. Placing the Receiver
Place the receiver indoors in a central location where the doorbell sound can be heard clearly throughout your home. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic devices that might interfere with the wireless signal.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Initial Use
Once batteries are installed in both the receiver and transmitter, the doorbell system should be ready for use. Press the push button on the transmitter, and the receiver will ring.
5.2. Changing Ringtones
The receiver offers 36 different melodies. To change the ringtone:
- Locate the melody selection button on the receiver (refer to the product diagram if available).
- Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies.
- Stop pressing when you hear your desired ringtone. The receiver will save this selection.
5.3. Adjusting Volume
The receiver has an adjustable volume control, ranging from 50 dB to 90 dB.
- Locate the volume control button on the receiver.
- Press the button to cycle through different volume levels.
- Select the volume level that is appropriate for your environment.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
Replace batteries in the receiver (3 x AAA) when the sound becomes faint or the unit stops functioning. Replace the CR2032 battery in the transmitter when the push button no longer activates the receiver. The transmitter battery is designed for a long lifespan (1-3 years).
6.2. Cleaning
Clean the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface or internal components. For the outdoor transmitter, you may use a slightly damp cloth to wipe off dirt, but ensure it is not submerged in water.
6.3. Waterproof Rating (IP44)
The transmitter has an IP44 rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and against splashing water from any direction. While it can withstand rain, it is not designed for submersion. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed to maintain its waterproof integrity.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ORNO Opera DC Wireless Doorbell, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
