Setup
1. Battery Installation
The electronic lock requires (4) AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment located on the inside of the safe door and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
2. Setting Your Passcode
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinges.
- The yellow light on the keypad will illuminate, indicating it's ready to accept a new code.
- Enter your desired 3 to 8 digit passcode on the electronic keypad.
- Confirm your passcode by pressing the "#" button. The green light will flash, confirming the new code is set.
- Test your new passcode with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.
3. Mounting the Safe (Optional)
For added security, the safe can be mounted to a wall, floor, or shelf using the pre-drilled holes and included expansion bolts. Choose a secure location and follow standard mounting procedures for your chosen surface.

Operating Instructions
1. Opening the Safe with Passcode
- Enter your 3 to 8 digit passcode on the electronic keypad.
- Press the "#" button. The green light will illuminate.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
2. Opening the Safe with Emergency Key
In case of forgotten passcode or dead batteries, the safe can be opened using one of the two emergency override keys. Locate the keyhole cover on the electronic panel, remove it, insert the key, and turn it counter-clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob clockwise to open the door.
Important: Keep emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe.3. Closing and Locking the Safe
Close the safe door firmly. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now securely locked.

Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the red indicator light flashes or the keypad does not respond. Always use (4) new AA batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Key Storage: Ensure emergency keys are stored in a safe, accessible location separate from the safe itself.
