Setup

The GasBRUH HEATER008 comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your heater for use:

  1. Install the Anti-Scalding Safety Guard: Carefully attach the safety guard around the radiant burner element. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent accidental contact with hot surfaces.
  2. Attach Support Legs: Place the support legs vertically onto the propane cylinder. Tighten the screws until they are secure, ensuring the heater is stable on the tank.
  3. Connect to Propane Tank: The heater is designed to attach to a standard 20 lb propane tank (not included). Connect the heater's gas cylinder outlet to the propane tank's valve. Hand-tighten the connection firmly to prevent leaks.
  4. Leak Check: Before first use and after every tank change, perform a leak check. Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary. Do not use the heater if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions

Once the heater is securely set up and connected to a propane tank, follow these steps for safe operation:

  1. Open Propane Tank Valve: Slowly open the valve on your propane tank counter-clockwise until fully open.
  2. Release Gas: Rotate the adjustment knob on the heater to the 'LOW' setting to allow gas to flow.
  3. Ignite the Burner: Press and hold the safety shut-off valve button for 10-30 seconds. While holding the button, insert the included USB windproof lighter through the ignition hole in the metal plate and activate the lighter to ignite the burner. Continue holding the safety shut-off valve button for a few more seconds after ignition to ensure the flame is stable.
  4. Adjust Heat Setting: Once ignited, release the safety shut-off valve button. You can now adjust the heat output using the adjustment knob. The heater offers three settings: Low (12,000 BTU), Medium (15,000 BTU), and High (18,000 BTU).
  5. Monitor Operation: Observe the heater during operation. The radiant element should glow.

A 20 lb propane cylinder can provide up to 28 hours of use, depending on the selected heat setting.
