  • Do not expose the charger to water or excessive moisture.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the charger.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Unplug the charger from the wall outlet when not in use.

Setup

  1. Unpack the Charger: Carefully remove the Samsung EP-TA20JWE wall charger from its packaging.
  2. Connect USB Cable: Insert the standard USB-A end of your Micro USB cable (not included with charger head only purchase) into the USB port on the charger. Ensure a firm connection.
  3. Prepare for Power: Extend the foldable prongs from the charger body.
  4. Plug into Outlet: Insert the charger's prongs into a standard wall power outlet (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz).
  5. Connect to Device: Plug the Micro USB end of the cable into your compatible device's charging port.

Note: This product is the charging head only. A compatible Micro USB cable is required for use.

Operating Instructions

Once connected, the charger will automatically begin charging your device. The charging indicator on your device will typically illuminate or display a charging icon.

Adaptive Fast Charging

For Samsung devices that support Adaptive Fast Charging (e.g., Galaxy Note 4, Note Edge, Galaxy S6 series, Note 5), the charger will deliver power at an accelerated rate. This can charge your device's battery from zero to approximately 50% in about 30 minutes. This feature activates automatically when connected to a compatible device.

Quick Charge 2.0

The charger also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology. Devices compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 (e.g., Google Nexus 6, HTC One (M8), Sony Xperia Z3/Z2, Motorola Moto X) will benefit from faster charging speeds, potentially gaining up to 8 hours of use from just 15 minutes of charging.

Standard Charging

For other Micro USB devices without Adaptive Fast Charging or Quick Charge 2.0 capabilities, the charger will provide a standard 2 Amp charging rate. This is still faster than many typical 1 Amp or 700mAh chargers.

To stop charging, simply disconnect the Micro USB cable from your device, then unplug the charger from the wall outlet.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the charger in a cool, dry place. Fold the prongs for compact storage.
  • Cable Care: Avoid bending or twisting the charging cable excessively, as this can damage the internal wires.
