5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the correct positive (+) and negative (-) polarity.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Setting the Time

1. Gently turn the minute hand clockwise to set the desired time.
2. Do not turn the hour hand directly. It will adjust automatically with the minute hand.
3. Allow the clock to run for a few minutes to ensure proper function.

5.3 Mounting or Placement

• Wall Mounting: Use a suitable wall anchor and screw (not included) to securely hang the clock via the keyhole slot on the back.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Cuckoo Chime Function

• The cuckoo bird will emerge and chime on the hour, indicating the current hour (e.g., 3 chimes for 3 o'clock).
• A single chime will occur every half hour.

6.2 Light Sensor

• The clock is equipped with a light sensor located on the front face.
• When the ambient light level is low (e.g., in a dark room at night), the light sensor will automatically deactivate the cuckoo chime function.
• The chime will resume automatically when sufficient light is detected.

7. Maintenance
